Today in sports news we are going to be talking about Marshall’s High School Varsity Soccer Team. They won ten games this year and lost six times, overall they’re pretty good. We interviewed 5 people, 3 from the team, the co-coach, and the coach. They all said some things that were similar and some things that were different. “I have 10 rules, #1, I rule, #2-10, look at rule number 1.” said Coach Rodriguez, when we asked if the players always play the positions they want to play. Most of the players liked their positions and some of them were “ok”playing with their positions. “I think that everyone is chosen to play the position that the coach thinks that they play better”, said number twenty-two. The players spoke clearly, but we don’t think that they spoke very truthfully. The players that we interviewed said that they have to practice to improve their games.

This week, February 6-9, the last two soccer games will be played and we hope they will be won. February 7th, they will play against, South El Monte High School and on February 9, they will play their last game and it will be against, El Monte High School. They will both be at 3:15 at Marshall. We hope that they will win their last games. They are great players and we’re all sure that they have what it takes to beat the last two teams. With the help of the coach and the captain, we can do anything. The coach might be very strict, but that’s because he wants what’s best for the team. This year has had some bumps, but the team made it through and never stopped trying hard. Even if they didn’t do good this year, they would still be a great team and great friends.
